ABOUT ME
My passion for photography began over 30 years ago and is now the driving force for my travels around the world. I enjoy capturing the beauty of nature as well as the action and excitement of sports. Some of my more unique photos include Ecuadorian hummingbirds, the many inhabitants of the Galapagos Islands, grizzly bears in Alaska, bubble-net-feeding of humpback whales in Alaska, polar bears near Churchill, Canada and Spitsbergen, the Masa Mari tribe in Kenya, underwater photos of humpback whales, the spectacular sceneryand people of Ireland, and stop-action shots of the World Series-winning Chicago White Sox team. I have published two photo coffee table books.
I give many motivational photo presentations each year. I am available to talk to your group.
I graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry, Summa Cum Laude, as the class of 1978 valedictorian. Iserved on the faculty there for many years while practicing dentistry at the Downers Grove office I opened in 1980, after completing a General Dentistry residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.
My dedication to continuing education has earned a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as membership as an alumnus of the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education. I am currently a Clinical Instructor at the Kois Center of Advanced Dental Education and the Dental Director of Alliance for Smiles. I have taken multiple trips to China, Egypt and the Philippines to help children with cleft lips and palates with Alliance for Smiles.
I am member of many professional organizations as well as a member of the Rotary Club and St. Joseph Parish. He lives with his wife, Lorie, in his hometown of Downers Grove. He has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.
